Quality, sustainability, and slow fashion resonate synonymously with the Swedish cashmere brand Soft Goat. The brand was established in 2011 by good friends Stephanie Bergström and Erik Magnuson during a discussion about the latter's sweater, which had been purchased in China. The result was Soft Goat, which is today known for its classic and timeless cashmere garments, made from carefully controlled cashmere of the finest quality.

Sustainability is something Soft Goat strongly focuses on. All manufacturers are monitored and regulated to ensure that the manufacturers themselves and their employees are well taken care of. Animal welfare is another essential part of Soft Goat's cashmere production, which is why they work exclusively with nomads and farmers who take good care of their animals. The wool is shorn once a year (only the innermost layer produces Soft Goat's exquisite cashmere) and is then sent for washing and spinning.
