Dries Van Noten established his fashion house in 1986, a third-generation tailor who would take the world by storm. From the fashion capital of Antwerp, Belgium, he opened his first store which has since spread worldwide. He is known for designs with rich textures, powerful silhouettes, and strong colors in many different combinations. His vision has always been to create clothes for all body types, ages, and personalities. Therefore, Van Noten has never advertised the brand - the clothes should speak for themselves and dress the personality, not the other way around. In addition, he believes that luxury is something special with meaning, something personal. He never creates haute couture, but always ready-to-wear, so that everyone can access the art he creates in his fashion shows. I want to create reality, not dreams.
The brand has maintained its identity season after season with strong colors and prominent shapes and silhouettes, often inspired by the colors in his own garden, art, and buildings.
