Amina Muaddi

Amina Muaddi is the designer on everyone's lips – and wish lists. She grew up between Jordan, Romania, and Italy and has a versatile background in the fashion industry, encompassing both design and magazines. When Muaddi decided to launch her own brand, she traveled to the renowned Italian shoe district, Riviera del Brenta, where she followed in the footsteps of designers like Manolo Blahnik and learned everything about shoe production. Muaddi has also previously collaborated with the French couture master, Alexandre Vauthier, and quality and craftsmanship have been cornerstones for Amina Muaddi since she founded her eponymous brand in 2018. Today, Amina Muaddi is based in Paris, with all production in Italy.

The sculptural heel has become one of Amina Muaddi's iconic trademarks. The martini heel is comfortable and stable – we love that this has become a trend! The designer heels are frequently spotted on stars like Kendal Jenner, Hailey Bieber, and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. The Rih Sandal model is also named after none other than Rihanna herself, who has been a good friend of the designer for many years.

You'll most likely recognize the sculptural heel from the model Begum,
which has taken the world by storm with its art-deco style brooch and the infamous martini heel. Begum has also been further developed in PVC, in a modern Cinderella style.
The collection has expanded considerably, and the brand is also recognizable by the crystal-encrusted bow found on the Rosie model, but glitter and glam are recurring features in several models, such as Gilda, Camelia, and Ami Pump. Elegance meets edge and playfulness, and we love it!
